[i remember loving ‘creep’ as a kid..along with every other person who had any musical sense. then falling in love all over again with ‘talk show host’ in romeo & juliet. but you developed a new meaning to me in college. it has been a ridiculous obsession from then on out.]
bon iver- bon iver
[you are one of the most original artists i have ever heard. your songs leave lasting impressions and there are moments when no other music will do. you stay on heavy rotation, and sorry to say i’m glad justin got mono to give him the free time to record ‘for emma, forever ago.’]
foster the people- torches
[you have become a fast favorite, especially for pumping me up for a night out (no pun intended). it should come as no surprise that so many demanded your song ‘pumped up kicks’ be played on the radio, but it should make you extremely proud. i have no doubt you will surpass the one-hit wonder status and will keep all of us rocking out for many more albums to come.]
